Just wanted to share a little bit about my dogs and let people know that they are great dogs,We have nothing but problems out of our neighbors over our dogs we have been in court over our Pit how was only 4 months old at the time,happened to get loose and wonder into a neighbor's yard.Of course it was threw out of court but we receive threats constantly over our dogs. Our dogs have never hurt noone or even acted like they were going to hurt anyone. Our neices and nephews are over here on a daily basis and our dogs love to play with them,they ride our dogs around the house and yard and the dogs even act as if it is their job to watch them when they are here. We have a Mastiff (Tiny) that we got from a friend a Boxer (Pete) that we got for our son from the pound and a Rednose Pit (Peanut) that we recued from having to go to a pound at 5 weeks. They are all great dogs and we enjoy every minute of them. To us they are part of the family and as far as I am concerned my neighbors can go stright to hell. Anyways I believe that there are some great reason to own a Pit,Number One being the neighbors leave ya alone..lol..Your house don't get messed with when people see that you own a Pit,They are great companions,great watch dogs,their funny as hell not to mention beautiful. People just have them pegged wrong,Any dog can go bad just like people go bad.I think as long as you love and train your dog to know right from wrong then you will get alot of pleasure out of owning a dog. Always let them know who's boss and when they do something wrong let them know right away. A dog learns what NO means and as long as you have a good relationship with your dog then you should have no problem teaching it act the way you expect. Our Pit is always looking serious,maybe this is why most people are scared of her.She just looks this way nomatter what she's doing but she wouldn't hurt a fly..Well I have seen her chase flys and maybe a few cats but most dogs do..and besides that she is a very sweet and well behaved girl. She just likes to lay around and be lazy,she hates going out when it's cold and loves playing with kids and the other dogs. And ole Pete would let the babies pull his ears off just as long as he got to hang out with them. We got him from the pound he was picked up because he had Pit in him and the lady was really happy that we took him.she said he'd been there for awhile and they really didn't think someone would take him for that reason. Well my son fell in love with him and out the door he went with us,He has been the best dog ever he was house broken and seemed as if he had had some training by the way he acted when we brought him home.He is gentle about everything he does the kids love to feed him hotdogs. |
